She married immediately following and became mother of two. She had a daughter and a son and raised two foster children besides them.
Inez and family moved to Canada in 1977. She became very active with the youth in her community. She erected and led a youth team for which she organized events in which the children learned to creatively express themselves through writing, song and drama. Her already vast array of poetry and stories were brought to light at this time. She also wrote the plays that the students performed. After some study in Psychology she quickly became involved with some of the more difficult children and helped to put them back on the right path spiritually.
After her return to Holland in1981 she returned to music and became manager of her late husband, musician Rick van der Linden. They performed together frequently, mostly abroad.
Aside from this she started writing lyrics for children’s songs, these have already resulted in 3 children’s C.D.’s
Together with her daughter Jola, she is working on a series of stories about gnomes entitled Gnomeland. Her husband Rick, composed and played all the music for this project. Inez has also been incorporated with the band Ekseption as singer.
